Wedding Blog

I have been reading posts on Facebook and blogs relating to weddings. A lot of couples are busy planning their wedding. There are lot's of great tips and ideas. One great blog I came across is "Style Me Pretty"  Vendor guides, DIY wedding projects,weddings,galleries,fashion and much more.  If you are planning your wedding I would definetely recommed you take a look!

One other idea to make your day special, whether you are planning your wedding or celebrating that wonderful day that has already passed, is an oil portrait.  An oil portrait is a wonderful addition to make the wedding day even more special!  I have worked with brides and grooms to make lovely additions for their home and family, creating a wonderful family heirloom for generations to come.

OneAmerica Ceo Oil Portrait - Mr.McRoberts

OneAmerica CEO Corporate Oil Portrait - Mr. McRoberts

This is a recent portrait completed for the OneAmerica Corporation. Mr. McRoberts. This is to commemorate his lifetime achievement within the OneAmerica Corporation. This portrait will be presented to Mr. McRoberts at the OneAmerica conference in Hawaii in June of this year,2013.
Mr. McRoberts will be given a print of this painting produced by Heartland Printing. The print is virtually indistinguishable from the original painting! The original portrait will be hanging in the OneAmerica gallery in the corporate office in downtown Indianapolis Indiana.

New Portrait Commission for OneAmerica

I will be starting on a new portrait for OneAmerica.
I was honored to be asked to visit and tour the corporate
office. Here are three portraits that I have done for them
in the past. They are displayed beautifully! I was also
humbled to learn my work is a  part of the extensive and
very impressive art collection they have in the corporate
offices. The work in the collection is amazing! They keep
the collection under lock and key it is so valuable!
They also gave me a great lunch!

Using Technology To Keep In Touch With Clients

I have to admit, I love technology.  With the invention of the internet
we can reach so many more people,places and information. I am very
 fortunate to have clients all over the U.S. and a few abroad.  I have
met many wonderful people online. The internet has turned this into
a very small world! In the past I have communicated with my clients
via phone, texting and e-mail.  Now that it is possible to communicate
withmy clients with programs such as Skype, connecting with clients
make the experience a little more personable!

I can show a client how a portrait commission is
coming along.  They can easily make changes
or suggestions.

A client can show me a space they would
like to fill with art and I can make suggestions
of my work that might fit the needs they are
looking for, right from a home or office!










I do have to admit, when at all possible, I prefer to meet my clients
face to face but in this fast paced and internet driven world we live \
in, it is not always possible!
