Helping To Make Memories

HELPING TO MAKE MEMORIES

I just love what I do.  I have had so many people tell me thank you.  Thank you for preserving a memory they could have lost if it wasn't for the painting I did for them or the painting they purchased from me. Creating a landscape the person lives near or has lived in, in the past.  A portrait of a loved one. A Grandmother,Grandfather,Mother,Father that has passed.  Painting a portrait of a child that will change, as you know very quickly.  Freezing a moment in time.  Being able to put dimension into a painting This makes my client happy and me very happy too! When I am working on a painting or portrait I admit, I have in the past only tried to think how I can do a great job on this painting.  I would think about how much I enjoy the process of doing the painting.  Only when I have a client see the painting for the first time and see the reaction is when I see how my work contributes to the happiness of another person.  I have to admit it is surprising to me.  I was only thinking about me.  How self centered is that?!  If you are an artist you never know how your work will contribute to the life of the client you are talking to now and the people that see your work in the future!  I believe we are given powerful gifts to make the world a better place.  I urge you, no matter what you do, do your best in whatever work you do and you too will not only make others happy but yourself also!

These are examples of a paintings that made a clients very very happy!

Wedding Blog

I have been reading posts on Facebook and blogs relating to weddings. A lot of couples are busy planning their wedding. There are lot's of great tips and ideas. One great blog I came across is "Style Me Pretty"  Vendor guides, DIY wedding projects, weddings, galleries, fashion and much more.  If you are planning your wedding I would definetely recommed you take a look!

One other idea to make your day special, whether you are planning your wedding or celebrating that wonderful day that has already passed, is an oil portrait.  An oil portrait is a wonderful addition to make the wedding day even more special!  I have worked with brides and grooms to make lovely additions for their home and family, creating a wonderful family heirloom for generations to come.

If you would like to discuss an original oil painting commission, feel free to contact me at: pattitrostle@aol.com    You can also go to my main web site at: http://www.pattitrostle.com to see other portraits and paintings.  I would love to hear from you!

Wedding Oil Painting Portrait

Recently I attended a beautiful wedding of a friend of mine.  I was asked by someone if I do oil portraits of wedding couples. I told her yes, and I gave her my card with a link to my web site http://www.pattitrostle.com with some examples of wedding portraits I was commissioned to paint.  The holidays are a special time for weddings.  Actually my parents were married on Christmas day many years ago.  That day was always a double celebration! If you are having a holiday wedding or know of someone who is, feel free to contact me pattitrostle@aol.com for information on a portrait commission.  An oil portrait is a wonderful treasure that can be passed down from generation to generation!

Procedure for commissions out of the Indianapolis area
I have safely shipped paintings all across the U.S. and abroad.  You simply e-mail me a good clear photo.  After a 50% deposit is paid, I will start on your portrait and give you updates by e-mail on the progression of the portrait.

Commission - Wedding Oil Portrait

Wedding Blog-Oil Portrait Examples

It's getting to be that time of year.  Spring has sprung and couple's are planning their beautiful weddings.  The bride and groom are, or have picked out the dresses, the rings, the tuxes, the flowers, etc.  It is such an exciting time!  One other thing a bride and groom should consider is how they want to remember this special day.  I have many portrait clients that have told me the one special thing they love most is the portrait I have painted for them.  They are very happy they can pass down to their children and even grandchildren not only an oil portrait of their wedding, but a piece of fine art.http://www.pattitrostle.com/

These are just two wedding portraits that I was chosen to do to help these couple's capture that special moment in time!
