I have been spending a lot of time in the great outdoors this summer.  The skies have been absolutely gorgeous!  I was fortunate enough to get a shot of this scene.  This is at a farm I own in southern Indiana.
When I saw this scene it seemed almost spiritual to me.  The title came to me as I looked at the sky.  The title "The Road Home" could mean to someone, the road to their earthly home that may seem familiar, or a road to heaven.  It was a very humbling experience!

My goal with this painting was to leave as many brush strokes

as possible to keep the painting looking fresh. Give the viewer

just enough to get my point across, and let the viewers eye and

imagination be entertained. Flowers have many meanings. The

coral rose is supposed to mean, "Desire". What do you desire?
