This is a 16 inches(H) x 20 inches(W) original oil painting of an Indiana Spring Landscape.  This
is from a location only a few miles from my home.  This is one of nineteen paintings that I will
be showing and have for sale in the Main Lobby Oval Promenade at the Hilbert Circle Theatre.
The paintings will be on the second floor. The show runs from May 29 thru August 27, 2012. Click

Often I do a pencil sketch, a value study in preparation for larger and more complicated painting. I find that these more spontaneous pieces have a personality and elements not always found in the final painting.  I am now going to be offering sketches for sale.  I will be posting new sketches often.  As always, I use only archival materials. 
This original drawing is on 10in (w) x 12in (h) paper, but the image will beautifully fit in a standard size 8in x 10in mat opening.  Mat or frame not included.
